I've patched and compiled the last Linux kernel 3.2.1 with the rt10 realtime patches. It is now available on Parisson servers as debian style packages (i386 and amd64).

On Ubuntu, Debian, etc, add the repository, update and install:

echo "deb http://angus.parisson.com/debian/ stable main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

sudo aptitude update

sudo aptitude install linux-image-3.2.1-yomguy-rt10 linux-headers-3.2.1-yomguy-rt10

Ten months ago, I started to look at other version control systems because I was fed up with the Subversion centralized model. It tested Git, Mercurial, Bazaar, etc.. Bazaar was the good choice because it allowed the dev teams to make branches easily in a decentralized environment, to push commits to the old subversion repository, to keep an easy syntax, etc...

Now there are few reasons to switch back to Git:

• we want to checkout and test branches faster without managing dozens of repositories,
• we do not want to upload 500 ko of data for a 1 line commit,
• we ...

A few month ago, I was looking for a 24 bits driver for the Fast Track Pro included in the TC-202.

I found a patch for the 2.6.31 kernel on Joe Giampaoli's blog which were written first by Pavel Polischouk. It added some quirks to the snd-usb-audio driver enabling 24 bits, 96 kHz and other special features for the FTP. Then, I adapted it for 2.6.33 RT and published it.

Now that the kernel 2.6.39 includes almost all of the realtime functions - like threaded IRQs for example - I decided to produce the same ...

Since the release of Telemeta 1.0, it is possible to embed a TimeSide UI dynamical player in any HTML page :)
